I had read that the best constipation treatment was to do a water fast. From what I had read, a water fast sounded easy and I saw it as something that would be easy for me to accomplish. The first day of the fast was easy and I did not notice much discomfort, but after that first day I went through an emotional and physical roller coaster. I started to feel cold and also felt a lot of hunger and cravings after the simplest of things. My thoughts also went crazy and I felt very weak. What kept me motivated during this time was the end result, I knew that if I could cure my constipation, then life would be so much better for me and I would be able to enjoy every single second of it.
